The place was spotless, and so cute on the inside! Walkable to everything downtown, and the parking was convenient. It was so nice having our own parking spot and not having to worry about street parking. Kara was super responsive and flexible when we asked for a late checkout and to extend our stay. Would highly recommend staying here!

The location of this unit couldn't be better for a stay in downtown Traverse City. It was an easy walk to restaurants and shops and the reserved parking place was very convenient. The building itself was nice and quiet and the unit was spotless and very well appointed. There were plenty of extra towels, soap and shampoo. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, coffee and basic cooking necessities like spiced and oil. The bed was comfortable with a nice assortment of pillows. Everything was in excellent condition. The unit is located on the third floor of a building with no elevator, which is noted in the listing. It wasn't a problem for us, but it's worth keeping in mind if you have any physical limitations or are traveling with a lot of luggage.

The Elm House was beautiful. The house is decorated so well. Beautiful and trendy inside. The house was spotless too. The kitchen was well stocked. Kara left lots of information about the area and things to do. The house is walking distance to downtown Sutton’s Bay. I’d highly recommend this home.

What a great find! Cozy bed and couch, right on the TART trail for easy access to biking and worth the price. The condo has everything you could need and the bikes are clutch. Kara always does a fantastic job decorating as well.

This lake house was perfect for our family getaway! The house was clean, had a lot of great spaces for all of us and the host was very accommodating. The host left lots of local information so we were able to plan a full week of activities, while enjoying the relaxing space!

Its been wonderful staying at Kara’s place. The place is a short drive to the all the vineyards and downtown traverse city, and there are groceries stores/coffee shops nearby. The check-in was smooth and easy. There were some issues with the internet during my stay but the host was proactive about the communication. Would recommend for a staycation.

This is our 4th time in the area but first time staying at the Elm House. It was perfect for us! Every detail was thought of from kitchen and bathroom needs to instructions for all items clearly marked to everything we needed for our kids! It was the perfect place for our 4 and 1 year old as there were so many toys, games, kids dishes, a garage full of kids toys, a pack & play, gates, a high chair, and books! They were tucked away in a way that made them easy to find but so if you didn't bring kids, you wouldn't even need to know they were there! It was walkable to everything in Sutton's Bay and drivable to so many things! The hosts were so quick to respond. Everything was clean and good quality. Neighbors were friendly. We've stayed at a lot of short term rentals and this one was the best we've been to! Definitely will be back!

Beautiful spot and unit. Really enjoyed the "special touches" for kids - books to read, little step-stool in the bathroom, little table and chairs on the balcony, even though we didn't have children with us. A nice touch!
